Drinkin' with Lincoln at TSI on Friday Night.

According to TSI's website, this Friday is

Beat Connection @ TSI
Penny PBR (9-11pm) [$5]

Live bands every friday till midnight.

DJ Cash Carter closes out the night and keeps you dancing till you either wet your pants ot break an ankle.

Music you can expect:
Shit, the guy owns Moon Colony Razorblade. All the music is good.

Of course, Cash Carter is also one of the more interesting shop owners in the Downtown area, as he and Max Wood are the Proprietors of Moon Colony Razorblade on Adams Street over by the London Bridge.

When Cash isnt out doing battle with the evil Meter Enforcement Agents this is what he does best!

TSI is one of the cool clubs over in the Bay Street Club District. Adjacent to Mark's and The Dive Bar, TSI feature an extracool alleyway entrance and is habituated by the hip and the beautiful (at least if Joey Marchy from Urbanjacksonville is to be believed.)

Downtown Vision Updates and Upscales the Hard Hat Loft Tour

This weekend The Downtown Living Tour will makes its debut as yet another one of those really cool things that home decorating voyeurs and apartment shoppers with actual budgets do on the weekends.

This tour, sponsored by Downtown Vision, (along with the usual corporate suspects) goes inside the hottest newest living spaces being offered in the expanding selection of Toney Downtown Addresses.

Of course, popular standbys are also included for first timers (or for people who might conceivably be wondering whether or not they finally switched out the blinds at 11 east) But this tour will take its guests into places where no one has yet ventured and feature some of the most blindingly awesome window views of the metropolitan core to date.

Orlando developer, Cameron Kuhn's new condo conversion of the landmark Barnett Bank Building is primary amongst these as people will get to a brilliant view of the Laura Street trio from the venerable old Grand Dame of Laura.

There are two types of tickets available: A standard no frills, but same thrills self guided walking tour of the spaces, and a slightly more upscale "platinum" tour complete with fabulous little bon bons from the areas pricier restaurants.

The Proletariat tour costs 10 dollars and goes all day Saturday. The Platinum Version is 50 bucks, scheduled at (the far cooler time of) 5-9 on Friday Evening, and includes the aforementioned fabulous bon bons, um..'libations', and live entertainment.

Two very different experiences. Two very different prices. Motherboard, naturally, recommends the Platinum one, as there will be greater chances for hilarity and hiballs. But then again, we expect to see all the rest of our income group on Saturday sipping coffee in Hemming Park.

Oh. And did we mention that David Luckin was going to be performing for the Friday gig?

Anyways, click here for the actual schedule for both Platinum and Proletarian tours. (and all the parking information you can handle.)

You can pick up advance tickets at Downtown Visions fabled downtown headquarters at the corner of Adams and Hogan. (That's in the shadow of the Skyway Tracks.)
